（１）移動しながら車体底部にある切刃で土砂を切削して運搬する建設機械。整地などに使用。トラクターに牽引されるキャリオールスクレーパーと自走するモータースクレーパーとがある。→掘削機（２）坑内で掘削された鉱石などをかき集めて鉱車に積み込む機械。鋼製のかき寄せ箱をウィンチ駆動のワイヤロープで移動させる。（３）掻器(そうき)，削器(さっき)ともいう。旧石器時代から新石器時代にかけて作られた打製石器の一つで，剥片(はくへん)に刃部を作り出したもの。削ったり，切ったりするのに用いられた。（４）機械ややすりで仕上げをした金属の表面に，さらに精密な仕上げを施すための工具。きさげともいう。
