Koichi Iiboshi Good Boshi Koichi This novel was first serialized in a weekly magazine in 1972. It is based on a yakuza conflict that took place in Hiroshima after the war.
A film based on the novel. Directed by Kinji Fukasaku, released in 1973. This was the first in a series, with eight films directed by the same director over a four-year period from 1973 to 1976. Since then, other films directed by different directors have been produced and released intermittently.

飯干晃一いいぼしこういちの小説。昭和47年（1972）週刊誌上で連載開始。戦後の広島で起きたやくざの抗争事件を題材とする。
を原作とする映画。深作欣二監督、昭和48年（1973）公開。これを第1作としてシリーズ化され、同監督による作品は、昭和48～51年（1973～1976）の4年間で8作を数える。その後も別の監督による作品が断続的に制作・公開されている。
