Antrodemus (English spelling)

A representative carnivorous dinosaur from the Late Jurassic Period of the Mesozoic Era. It belongs to the theropoda suborder. It was bipedal. The largest was 13.5m long and 5m tall. The average was 10.5m long, 4.5m tall, weighed 3-4t, and had a stride length of 1.8m. Its forelimbs were short and its hind limbs were powerful. Like a bird, it had three large fingers in front and one small finger in the back. The tips of all of the fingers were hooked. It had a high skull and a pointed snout. Its teeth were sharp, with well-developed serrations on the front and back edges. It attacked huge dinosaurs such as Apatosaurus .

中生代ジュラ紀後期の代表的な肉食恐竜。獣脚亜目Theropodaに属する。二足歩行性。最大のものは体長13.5m，高さ5m。平均は体長10.5m，高さ4.5m，重さ3～4t，歩幅1.8m。前肢は短小で，後肢は強大。鳥のように前方に大きい指が3本，後方に小さい指1本がある。指の先はすべて鉤状となる。頭骨は高く，吻部（ふんぶ）はとがる。歯は鋭利で前後の縁には鋸歯が発達する。アパトサウルスApatosaurusのような巨大な恐竜をおそった。
