A late medieval storybook. Also known as "Twelve Stages Storybook" or "Twelve Stages of Joruri." It may have been written in the mid-Muromachi period. The author is unknown. It consists of 12 stages. It is a love story about Ushiwaka, who goes down to Oshu accompanied by Kinbai Kichitsugu, and falls in love with Joruri Gozen, the daughter of a wealthy man from Yahagi, Mikawa.
