The main work of the Chinese Northern Wei monk Donluan (476-542). It is a commentary on the Treatise on Pure Land by the Indian monk Vasubandhu (Vasuppati or Vasubandhu), also known as the Commentary on the Treatise on Rebirth in the Pure Land, and is also abbreviated as Commentary or Commentary. It is in two volumes. Since the Treatise on Pure Land is a commentary on the Sutra of Immeasurable Life, this work is a second commentary. It clarifies that both the cause and effect of sentient beings' rebirth in the Pure Land are due to the Tathagata's vow, in other words, to the power of others, and became the basis of later Pure Land doctrine. 中国，北魏の僧曇鸞（どんらん）(476‐542)の主著。インドのバスバンドゥ(世親または天親)の《浄土論》に対する注釈で，《往生論註》ともいい，《論註》《註論》とも略称される。2巻。《浄土論》は《無量寿経》に対する注釈なので，本書は再注釈ということになる。衆生が浄土に往生する因も果も如来の誓願，つまり他力によることを明らかにし，のちの浄土教義の基礎となった。【礪波護】
