Shuaijiao

Japanese:
Shuaijiao
Shuai jiao (摔跤) is a term used as a general term for sumo in modern China. In Japan, it is also called shuai jiao (Swai jiao). When shuai jiao is normally used in Chinese to mean sumo, one is wrestling and the other is Chinese sumo. When shuai jiao is used in China to mean sumo, it is written as "Chinese style 摔跤" and generally refers to sumo practiced by the Han people. However, in reality, it is not just Han Chinese sumo, but more than half of the 55 ethnic minorities recognized by the Chinese state have their own ethnic forms of sumo.
