Italian painter. His father, Berlinghiero Berlinghieri, was also a painter, and Bonaventura was one of his three sons. His works include the altarpiece for the Basilica of San Francesco in Pescia (1235), in which Francis stands in the center, with three scenes from his life on either side. Other works include St. Francis and His Life (Santa Croce, Florence).
