Shichimenzan

It is a mountain in the southwest of Yamanashi Prefecture, forming the front mountain of the Akaishi Mountains. Its altitude is 1,989 meters. A large collapse called "Nanaitagara" on the eastern slope from the summit is a landmark that can be seen from afar. The mountain is about 7 kilometers southwest of Mt. Minobu, and the summit is owned by Mt. Minobu Kuonji Temple (an exclave of Minobu Town). It is a sacred place for the Nichiren sect, founded by Nichirou Shonin. At the summit are Keishin-in Temple (the main temple of Mt. Shichimen), among others. There is a route to the top via Mt. Minobu Okunoin, or by bus to Sumise (Hayakawa Town) and climbing along the Haruki River.

山梨県南西部、赤石(あかいし)山脈の前山をなす山。標高1989メートル。頂上から東斜面の「なないたがれ」とよぶ大崩壊は遠方からも目印となる。身延(みのぶ)山の南西約7キロメートルにある山で、山頂は身延山久遠寺(くおんじ)の所有（身延町の飛び地）。日朗上人(にちろうしょうにん)開山の日蓮(にちれん)宗の聖地。山頂には敬慎院(けいしんいん)（七面山本社）などがある。身延山奥の院経由、またはバスで角瀬(すみせ)（早川町）まで入り、春木川沿いに登るルートがある。
