A volcano located southwest of Davao City in the southern part of Mindanao Island in the Philippines. It is the highest mountain in the Philippines at 2,954 meters above sea level. It was once a single volcano with Mount Talomo to the north, but it is thought that it lost its summit due to an explosion and became a separate mountain due to a subsequent explosion. Sulfur veins have been discovered on the eastern slope.
