Born: October 13, 1474, Florence
Died November 5, 1515. Italian painter from Florence. He studied under Cosimo Rosselli in Florence and collaborated with Fra Bartolomeo, who was in the same workshop, until around 1500 (The Annunciation, 1497, Cathedral of Volterra). His works, such as The Visitation of the Virgin Mary (1503, Uffizi Gallery) and The Annunciation (10, Accademia Gallery, Florence), show a classical and elegant style influenced by Leonardo da Vinci and Perugino.
