Dioxane

Dioxacyclohexane. _{C 4} H ₈ O ₂ (88.10). A six-membered cyclic ether consisting of two oxygen atoms. When simply referred to as dioxane, it refers to 1,4-dioxane. [ I ] 1,4-dioxane: It is synthesized by distilling ethylene glycol or polyethylene glycol in the presence of a catalyst such as concentrated sulfuric acid, or by heating ethylene oxide with sodium hydroxide. It is a colorless liquid with a faint odor. Its melting point is 11.8°C, boiling point is 101°C. It is 1.0356. 1.422. It is flammable, with a flash point of 8°C. It is miscible with water and many organic solvents. It forms an azeotropic mixture (boiling point 88°C) containing 20% ​​water. In an anhydrous state, it can form explosive peroxides. It forms crystalline adducts with metal chlorides, sulfuric acid, etc. It is widely used as a solvent for polymeric compounds and inorganic substances. dioxacyclohexane．C₄H₈O₂(88.10)．O原子2個からなる六員環状エーテルのこと．単にジオキサンという場合は1,4-ジオキサンをさす．【Ⅰ】1,4-ジオキサン：エチレングリコールまたはポリエチレングリコールを濃硫酸などの触媒の存在下で蒸留するか，エチレンオキシドを水酸化ナトリウムと加熱して合成される．淡い香気のある無色の液体．融点11.8 ℃，沸点101 ℃．1.0356．1.422．可燃性で，引火点8 ℃．水および多くの有機溶媒とまざる．水20％ を含む共沸混合物(沸点88 ℃)をつくる．無水状態では爆発性の過酸化物をつくることがある．金属塩化物，硫酸などと結晶性付加物をつくる．高分子化合物ならびに無機物質の溶媒としてきわめて広く用いられる．また，リチウム塩の抽出分離に使われる．[CAS 123-91-1]【Ⅱ】1,3-ジオキサン：トリメチレングリコールとポリ(オキシメチレン)からつくられる．無色の液体．沸点105 ℃．1.034．[CAS 505-22-6]
