This is the diary of Konoe Hisamichi, a court noble from the late Middle Ages. The 18 volumes of handwritten manuscripts spanning from 1506 (Eisho 3) to 1532 (Tenbun 1) are held by the Yomei Bunko. It is also known as the Gohojoji Kanpakuki (Record of the Regent of Gohojoji) after his Buddhist name. Hisamichi became the head of the Konoe family as the successor to the political family, and served as Kanpaku and Grand Minister of State, occupying a central position in court society. The entries cover the court society at the time in general, and are an important historical document that tells us about the living conditions of court nobles in the late Muromachi period.
