Saninpo - Saninpo

Japanese: 三因方 - さんいんぽう

The correct title is San'in Ji'i Binggen Lun-sui (Three Instances, One Disease Source Treatise). It is a clinical medical text written by Chen Yan (character Wu-huan) of the Song Dynasty in China. The author's name is unclear, but the preface to the work was written in 1174 (Chunxi 1). It states that illness is caused by either internal factors such as joy, anger, sorrow, or pleasure, external factors such as cold, heat, wind, and dampness, or non-internal or external factors such as eating too little or too much food, or being attacked by tigers, wolves, or pests, and contains over 1,050 prescriptions categorized by illness. It is a book that had a major impact on later generations, not only attracting attention for its medical theories, but also for its prescriptions that have been used for a long time afterwards.

正しくは《三因極一病源論粋》という。中国，宋の陳言(字は無択)撰の臨床医学書である。撰者の伝は明らかでないが，この書の自序は1174年(淳熙1)に書かれている。病気は喜怒哀楽などの内因，寒熱風湿などの外因と飲食の過不足や虎狼，害虫などの不内外因のいずれかによって起こるとし，1050余りの処方を病気ごとに分類して収載している。後世に大きな影響を残した書で，医学理論が注目されただけでなく，その後長く用いられた処方もある。
