Zaron
Emperor Gia Long (Gia Long), the founder of the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam. His surname was Nguyen Phuc Anh. He was a member of the Nguyen clan, a powerful clan in the Le Dynasty. With the help of France, he suppressed the Tay Son Party revolution, unified Vietnam, and in 1802, he changed the era name to Gia Long, established the national capital in Hue, and became the Emperor of Southern Vietnam.
