Law of the Sea

The law of the sea is the field with the longest history in international law, but the term "Law of the Sea" has only recently been used. In general, this term has come to be generally accepted as a unified term with the above content through the drafting process of the Third United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (see below). ...
