A general term for erosive skin lesions. In the narrow sense, it refers to lupus vulgaris. Lupus vulgaris is a type of skin tuberculosis that occurs most frequently on the face of children and adolescents. The face becomes deformed due to nodules, ulcers, and edematous thickening. It often also affects bones and cartilage, resulting in defects such as the nose. It progresses chronically, and cancer may develop in the affected area. Treatment involves the administration of anti-tuberculous drugs.

侵食性の皮膚病変の総称。狭義には尋常性狼瘡をいう。尋常性狼瘡は皮膚結核の一つで，小児や青年の顔面に好発。結節，潰瘍(かいよう)，浮腫様肥厚などにより顔面が変形する。しばしば骨・軟骨をも冒して鼻などが欠損する。慢性に経過し，病変部に癌(がん)を発生することもある。治療は，抗結核薬投与など。
