An oil field located off the coast of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. It was discovered in 1964 by Abu Dhabi Marine Area (ADMA), a joint venture between British Petroleum (→BP) and Française des Pétroles, in the southeast of the Umm Shaif oil field. The ultimate recoverable reserves (→Recoverable reserves) are 1 billion barrels (1 barrel is about 159 liters ). Production began in 1967. The crude oil has API gravity of 40 degrees and sulfur content of 0.9% by weight, making it a light, low-sulfur crude oil in the Middle East. It is shipped from Das Island along with Umm Shaif crude oil. Secondary recovery by large-scale water flooding is planned. Japan Oil Development joined ADMA in 1973.

アラブ首長国連邦のアブダビ沖合いに位置する油田。1964年ブリティシュ・ペトロリアム（→BP）とフランセーズ・デ・ペトロールの合弁会社であるアブダビ・マリン・エアリア ADMAがウムシャイフ油田の南東部に発見した。究極的可採埋蔵量（→可採埋蔵量）は 10億バーレル (1バーレルは約 159l) 。1967年に生産を開始。原油の性状は API比重 40度，硫黄分 0.9重量%と中東では軽質，低硫黄原油で，ウムシャイフ原油とともにダス島から出荷されている。大規模な水攻法による 2次回収が計画されている。なお ADMAには 1973年ジャパン石油開発が参加している。
