Donation - Donation
〘 noun 〙 To provide materials at the request of the government or other parties. In particular, it refers to forcing private goods, staple food products, etc., to be sold to the government at a fixed price. ※Keikoku Bidan (1883-84)〈Yano Ryukei〉Later on "The wealthy donated most of their fortunes to the military."
