[Birth] 1430. Burgundy Died: 1512. Tours A representative sculptor of the French Renaissance. He was active in Tours around 1473, but only his works from after 1500 remain. His works include the Tomb of Francis II, Duke of Brittany and his wife (1502-07) and the marble relief Saint George and the Dragon (c. 1509, Louvre Museum).
