Nilo‐Saharan

Japanese: ナイル･サハラ語族 - ナイルサハラごぞく（英語表記）Nilo‐Saharan

A group of African languages found in a wide area from the middle Niger River to southern Sahara and from Sudan to the White Nile in East Africa. It is divided into four subgroups: (1) Songhai, Songhai (Songhai) of the middle Niger River basin, (2) Saharan (Saharan) of the Bornu region of Nigeria, (3) Maban (Maban) of the Wadai region of Chad, (4) Fur (Fur) of the Darfur region of Sudan, (5) Koman (Koman) of the Ethiopian-Sudanese border, and (6) Chari-Nile (Chari-Nile).
