Japanese: コールサイン（英語表記）call sign

Call letters: Same as call letters. Calls a radio station's call sign. Broadcasting stations, aircraft, ships, amateur radio stations, etc. all have their own unique call signs, which are a combination of letters and numbers. By international agreement, the first one or two letters of the alphabet indicate the station's nationality. In Japan, all call signs start with J, with broadcasting stations starting with JO... and amateur radio stations starting with JA...

コールレターズ call lettersと同じ。無線局の呼出し符号をいう。放送局，航空機，船舶，アマチュア無線局など，すべて固有のコールサインをもっており，アルファベットの文字と数字で組合わされている。アルファベットの最初の1文字または2文字は国際協定によって，その局の国籍を示す。日本ではすべて最初がJで，放送局は JO…，アマチュア無線局は JA…から始る。
