Call sign (English)
Call letters: Same as call letters. Calls a radio station's call sign. Broadcasting stations, aircraft, ships, amateur radio stations, etc. all have their own unique call signs, which are a combination of letters and numbers. By international agreement, the first one or two letters of the alphabet indicate the station's nationality. In Japan, all call signs start with J, with broadcasting stations starting with JO... and amateur radio stations starting with JA...
