Magistrate of the Imperial Estate - Goryoshobugyo

Japanese: 御料所奉行 - ごりょうしょぶぎょう

An official placed in the Imperial Court to manage the Imperial Estate in the middle and late Muromachi period. The first was Sanjo Sanenari, who was appointed in 1436 (Eikyo 8), followed by Sanjo Sanemochi in 1498 (Meio 7), and others known include Kajiyuji Masaaki around 1502 (Bunki 2), Hirohashi Morimitsu, who held the position until 1513 (Eisho 10), Sanjonishi Sanetaka, who was appointed in place of Morimitsu, and Sanjonishi Kimiyoshi around 1561 (Eiroku 4). All of these people had strong ties with the shogunate and the samurai.

室町時代中後期，禁裏(皇室)御領を管理するために朝廷内に置かれた役人。1436年(永享8)に三条実量が任命されたのを初見とし，98年(明応7)には三条実望が任ぜられ，1502年(文亀2)ごろの勧修寺（かじゆうじ）政顕，13年(永正10)までその職にあった広橋守光，守光に代わって任ぜられた三条西実隆，61年(永禄4)ごろの三条西公条などが知られている。これらの人々はいずれも幕府，武家との強い関係をもっている。
