A nobleman in the mid-Edo period. Calligrapher. Regent, regent, and grand minister of state. Son of Regent Motohiro . His Buddhist name was Yorakuin. His calligraphy was influenced by ancient styles such as Kukai and Yukinari, and he is considered a master of both Chinese and Japanese styles, representing the early modern period. He was erudite and versatile, and was also knowledgeable in painting, tea ceremony, and flower arrangement. He lived from 1667 to 1736 ( 1667-1736 ). 江戸中期の公卿。書家。関白、摂政、太政大臣。関白基熙(もとひろ)の子。法号予楽院。書は空海、行成などの上代様をうけ、唐様、和様を兼ねて近世を代表する名手とされる。博学多才で、画、茶道、花道にも通じた。寛文七~元文元年(一六六七‐一七三六)
