〘Noun〙 A commemorative kyogen play that has been passed down since the founding of the Edo Sanza. It was performed on the occasion of a jubilation performance. Examples include "Saruwaka," "Shinbochidaiko," "Tsurigitsune," and "Kadomatsu" from Nakamuraza, "Kaido Kudari" from Ichimuraza, and "Busshari" from Moritaza. *The Sanza Kyogen and History Book ( 1819 ) "As a sign of wishing wealthy families to see the jubilation kyogen, surimono were distributed with hakama haori." 〘名〙 歌舞伎で、江戸三座の創立当初から伝来する記念狂言。寿興行の折に上演した。中村座の「猿若」「新発意太鼓(しんぼちだいこ)」「釣狐」「門松」、市村座の「海道下り」、森田座の「仏舎利」などをいう。※三座家狂言并由緒書(1819)「豪家へ寿狂言御見物を願ふしるしと袴羽折にて摺物を配りければ」
