...Sparrows and crows that can be seen around houses live in the same area all year round and are called resident birds. Birds that breed in different places and spend the winter (overwintering) but do not leave the same area, such as the Japanese bush warbler and the red-breasted thrush, are called wandering birds. However, with the arrival of spring, thrushes, Eurasian bush warblers, geese, ducks, and swans that have spent the winter there migrate to the northern lands.
