International telecommunication

Japanese: 国際通信 - こくさいつうしん（英語表記）international telecommunication

It refers to the sending, transmission, or receiving of information such as letters, codes, sounds, and images between different countries or regions by wire, wireless, optical, or other electromagnetic means. In order for international communications to be carried out smoothly, various international agreements on technical and communication handling are necessary. International agreements include treaties, agreements, regulations, recommendations, operating agreements, and bilateral or multilateral agreements of international organizations such as the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (INTELSAT).
