〘noun〙 The state of having a complete set of something. A complete set. ① Refers to clothing. ※Tamakiharu (1219) "In the mist, the Imperial clothing was folded up in two places." ② Refers to armor and weapons. ※ Gukansho (1220) 5 "Seven pieces of armor and even bows and arrows were all taken out in a reliable condition." ③ Refers to a complete set of horse equipment such as saddles and stirrups. All horse equipment. ※Gikeiki (Muromachi period) 4 "On land , saddles and equipment were left for five hundred fine horses." ④ Refers to the materials that make up the hull of a Japanese ship, and is a word used in reference to ship equipment such as rudders, sails, and anchors . ※Kaisen Shigen (Early 19th century) "The above is a list of ship equipment and how to use the ship equipment. 〘名〙 ある物に関して一式備わっていること。一そろえ。① 装束類についていう。※たまきはる(1219)「もやには御ふくどもかいぐかいぐ、二所ばかりたたみおかれて」② 甲冑(かっちゅう)、武具についていう。※愚管抄(1220)五「よろひ七領をぞ弓矢まで皆具たのもしくとり出して」③ 鞍、鐙など、馬具一式についていう。馬具一切。※義経記(室町中か)四「陸(くが)に五百疋(ひき)の名馬に鞍かひ具置きて」④ 和船の船体を構成する船材をいうもので、舵、帆装、碇(いかり)などの船具に対する語。※廻船必要(19C初)「以上船皆具名目并船具遣方之訳、廻船方改役に携る者、兼て相弁可置事」⑤ 船材および櫓などの道具を含めていうもの。※通航一覧附録(1853)二〇「右之御船皆具、其元より被遣候目録之通改、無相違請取申候」⑥ 台子(だいす)、長板に置かれる茶道具一式についていう。風炉、釜(かま)、水指(みずさし)、柄杓立(ひしゃくたて)、建水(けんすい)、蓋置など。
