Uguisuna - Japanese bush warbler
〘Noun〙 A type of vegetable such as komatsuna, rapeseed, and turnip that grows to about 10 centimeters in spring and is eaten as snack. It is often used to refer to komatsuna in particular, as it comes into bloom around the time when nightingales sing and has a similar color. 《Season: Spring》※Katsuyamaki - Eiroku 2 (1559) "In the great flood, <abbreviation> especially the nightingale vegetables were completely destroyed and there was nothing left."
