Japanese: 估価法 - こかほう

Laws on official prices and exchange rates for goods sold and tributes in exchange for goods enacted by the Imperial Court or provincial offices, or by the Kamakura Shogunate in ancient and medieval times. Prices for the East and West markets, prices for trade with foreign countries, and prices for public land rented by each province had already been established by decree. In addition, an official document issued in 798 (Enryaku 17) decreed that prices should be based on the Wa Market price instead of compulsory prices, which shows that compulsory prices were also set for miscellaneous trade goods in each province. However, although the Wa Market price would have made the valuation law unnecessary, in 947 (Tenryaku 1), a reduction in the price of miscellaneous trade goods was discussed, and the enactment of valuation laws was discussed in 962 (Owa 2), 986 (Kanwa 2), 1072 (Enkyu 4), and 1179 (Jisho 3).

古代･中世に朝廷官衙や国衙，または鎌倉幕府が制定した物品売買や代物貢納についての公定価格や代物の換算率の法。すでに令において，東西市の估価や，異国交易の估価とともに，賃租公田における諸国の估価が制定されている。また，798年(延暦17)の官符では，強制的な估価によらず，和市の価によるべきことが令せられており，このことから諸国の交易雑物にも，強制的な估価が設定されていたことがわかる。しかし，この和市の価によれば估価法は不用になるはずだが，947年(天暦1)には，交易雑物の価を減定することが議せられており，その後，962年(応和2)，986年(寛和2)，1072年(延久4)，1179年(治承3)と估価法の制定が論じられている。
