Italian stage designer. His work is characterized by rhythmic spatial design and delicate lighting. Since 1952, he has worked as a set designer for the Piccolo Theatre in Milan. His main works include B. Brecht's "The Threepenny Opera," "The Life of Galileo," and "The Good Man of Sechuan," C. Goldoni's "The Troubles of Chioggia," L. Pirandello's "Improvisation," and F. Garcia Lorca's "The House of Bernarda Alba," all of which were well received under the direction of G. Strehler.

イタリアの舞台美術家。リズミックな空間造形と繊細な照明が特徴である。1952年以来ミラノ･ピッコロ座(ピッコロ･テアトロ)の装置家として活躍。おもな仕事としてB.ブレヒトの《三文オペラ》《ガリレイの生涯》《セチュアンの善人》，C.ゴルドーニの《キオッジャのもめごと》，L.ピランデロの《本日は即興劇を》，F.ガルシア･ロルカの《ベルナルダ･アルバの家》などがあり，つねにG.ストレーレルの演出の下に好評を得た。
