Japanese: 港湾料金 - こうわんりょうきん

A general term for various taxes, facility fees, service fees, etc. that must be paid by a ship entering a port, regardless of whether it is loading or unloading cargo. In other words, it is all port-related expenses excluding the direct expenses (cargo-related expenses) associated with loading and unloading cargo at the port. For example, the port charges that a foreign trading ship must pay when entering an open port include roughly the following: pilotage, towing fees, canal tolls, lighthouse tax, port entry fees, tonnage, wharf fees, buoy fees, tolls, tethering and release fees, trash dumping fees, customs charges, agency fees, consulate processing fees, ship disinfection fees, etc.

貨物の積卸しいかんにかかわらず，船舶が港に入ることによって負担しなければならない各種の税金，施設使用料，役務利用料などの総称。いいかえれば，港湾での貨物積卸しにかかる直接費用(荷役関係費)を除いたすべての港湾関係費用のことである。たとえば，外国貿易船が開港に入った場合に負担しなければならない港湾料金には，おおよそ次のようなものがある。水先料，曳船料，運河通航料，灯台税，入港料，とん税，岸壁使用料，浮標使用料，通船料，綱取放料，塵捨船料，税関諸掛，代理店料，領事館手続料，船内消毒費，等々。
