1486‐1530 Italian painter of the late Renaissance. Born in Florence. Real name Andrea d'Agnolo di Francesco. Studied under Piero di Cosimo and Franciabigio. A member of the technical school, he combined the merits of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael, and was called "the flawless painter" by Vasari. His representative work, "Madonna of the Alps" (1525), is a classical work that combines various Renaissance techniques, such as symmetrical composition, colors full of light and shadow, and expressive figures, but in "Assumption of the Virgin" (1530), he exaggerates these elements to show Manneristic intensity and failure (Mannerism). 1486‐1530 ルネサンス末期のイタリアの画家。
