A fruit tree of the Rutaceae family native to southern Asia. Also known as pomelo or pompom. It is grown in small quantities in southern Kyushu and other areas. It has large leaves and white flowers that grow in clusters. The fruit is large, spherical to pear-shaped, and some weigh up to 1 kg. The skin is thick and the inner skin is cotton-like.
