Confession - Koumon
〘noun〙① A document in which words are written down to be spoken to the gods. There are those that are like a declaration and those that contain a petition. It is usually written in the style of a declaration of missions. Kobun. *Chuu-u-ki - January 28th, 1091 (5th year of Kanji), "After the Empress was made the Empress, for the first time, there were three offerings made to various shrines, and one chief priest and a fourth-ranked priest, except Yoshida, who was fifth -ranked, was summoned to the Dainaiki and an order was issued to write a yellow notice." ② A document written to swear to the gods and Buddhas or to declare to others that one's words and actions are true.
