Japanese: こうま座(小馬座) - こうまざ（英語表記）Equulens

Its abbreviation is Equ. It is a small constellation in the autumn sky located to the west of Pegasus. In Greek mythology, Celeris is the younger brother of the winged horse Pegasus, and is said to have been a gift from the god Hermes to the hero Castor. It is also said that the Greek astronomer Hipparchus created this constellation. Alpha star has a luminosity of 4.1 magnitude and is named Chitalfa (meaning the front half of a horse). Its approximate position is right ascension 21h10m, declination +6°. It reaches its highest point in the meridian at 8pm in early October. [Ishida Goro]
