Japanese: 香寺[町] - こうでら

A former town in Kanzaki District, located in the central-southern part of Hyogo Prefecture, bordering the north of Himeji City. The Bantan Line runs through the town. Rice, bell peppers, broccoli, and other crops are cultivated here. With the development of the Harima coastal industrial zone, industrial and residential land has been developed, and light electrical appliance and food industries are operating here. In March 2006, it was incorporated into Himeji City along with Yumesaki Town, Ieshima Town, and Yasutomi Town, Shisō District. Area: ^{31.52 km2} . Population: 20,123 (2003).

兵庫県中南部，姫路市の北に接する神崎(かんざき)郡の旧町。播但(ばんたん)線が通じる。米作，ピーマン・ブロッコリーなどの栽培を行う。播磨臨海工業地帯の発展に伴い工業用地，住宅地開発が進み，弱電・食品工業などが行われている。2006年３月飾磨郡夢前町，家島町，宍粟郡安富町と姫路市へ編入。31.52km²。２万123人（2003）。
