Simson line - Simson line

Simson line - Simson line
It is also called Wallace's line. When a perpendicular line is drawn from any point O on the circumference of the circumscribing circle of triangle ABC to the three sides AB, BC, and CA of the triangle, or to their extensions, the feet D, E, and F of the perpendicular line are in a straight line. This straight line DE is called Simson's line. This theorem about triangles is said to have been discovered by British mathematician R. Simson (1687-1768). However, since this theorem is also stated in papers by W. Wallace (1999, 1800), it is also called Wallace's theorem.
