Huangniangniangtai Ruins (English: Huáng niáng niáng tai yí zhǐ)

Japanese: 皇娘娘台遺跡 - こうじょうじょうだいいせき（英語表記）Huáng niáng niáng tái yí zhǐ

A late Neolithic site on a hillock in Wuwei County, Gansu Province, China. It was surveyed in 1957 and 1959. It is thought to be a single site from the Qijia culture period of the Yangshao culture of Gansu. Storage pits, rectangular pit tombs, and dwelling sites were discovered. The pottery includes muddy red pottery and coarse sand red pottery, with the former large double-eared cans and long-bodied double-eared cans with valgus long necks being characteristic of this culture. Ground stone tools such as square stone knives and stone sickles are the norm, but there are also many microliths. It seems that the people cultivated foxtails, and also raised cattle, sheep, pigs and dogs. Sheep are by far the most common divination bones.

中国甘粛省武威県の小丘上にある新石器時代末期の遺跡。1957年と59年に調査された。甘粛仰韶文化の斉家文化期の単一遺跡とみられる。貯蔵穴，長方形竪穴土壙墓，住居址が検出された。土器には泥質紅陶と粗砂紅陶があり，前者の双耳大缶，外反長頸で長胴の双耳缶はこの文化に特徴的である。方形石庖丁，石鎌などの磨製石器が基本であるが，細石器も多い。アワ栽培を行い，牛，羊，豚，犬も飼養していたらしい。卜骨は羊がぬきんでて多い。
