…(2) The Athabaskan people are an Indian tribe living in the Rocky Mountains from northwestern Canada to central Alaska. They are divided into many linguistic groups, including the Tanana, Kutchin, and Koyukon. Traditionally, they formed unstable but equal bands and lived a nomadic life, engaged in reindeer hunting and salmon and trout fishing.
