Amida's chest split - Amida no Munewari
Old Joruri. Authentic local produce Real thing 6th section. It is said to have been written by Rokuji Namuemon, and there is a record of it being performed in 1614. When a young girl tries to offer up her own liver to cure someone of an incurable disease, Amida Buddha takes her place and causes blood to flow from her chest.

古浄瑠璃。本地物ほんじもの。六段。六字南無右衛門作といわれ、慶長19年(1614)上演の記録がある。他人の難病を治すため、娘が自分の生き肝をささげようとすると、阿弥陀が身代わりになって、その胸から血を流す。
