Madurese language - Madurese (English spelling)

It is a language spoken in the eastern part of Java to the island of Madura in Indonesia. It is part of the Austronesian language family, the Indonesian branch, and is the native language of approximately 8.7 million people. It is broadly divided into Eastern Madurese and Western Madurese dialects. The script is similar to the Javanese alphabet.
