Also known as the Illustrated Biography of the Kegon Sect's Founder. A picture scroll from the early Kamakura period. Six volumes. A biography of the monks Wonhyo and Uisang, who brought the Kegon sect from the Tang Dynasty to Silla. It uses long, continuous compositions, and the flow of the picture is smooth. It is characterized by a style of painting with free lines and light colors that capture dynamic expressions.
