A city in the Leningrad Oblast in northwestern Russia. It is located in the southeastern suburbs of St. Petersburg and faces the Izhora River, a tributary of the Neva River. It is home to the Izhorsky Machine Factory, which produces excavators, presses, and forging equipment, as well as a steel industry that produces steel pipes and other steel products, and a mica processing industry.
