Heavenly Language Song - Amagatari Uta

Japanese:
Heavenly Language Song - Amagatari Uta
〘Noun〙 Ancient folk song. A type of court hymn, perhaps passed down by the Amagatari no Muraji . It has the final phrase, "Even the story of the matter should be told in this way," and three pieces appear in the Kojiki, Lower Volume. Traditionally, they were often called "Amagoto Uta." *Kojiki (712), Lower Volume: "These three songs are Amagatari Uta. " [Additional note] One theory is that Amagoto Muraji and Umagoto Muraji are different spellings of the same clan name, and that Amagoto Uta was passed down by the Amagataribe of Ise. Another song with the same final phrase is Kangatari . → Kangatari
