A holding company that includes the largest bus company in the United States, Greyhound Lines Inc. (sold in 1987), as well as food, finance, and service divisions. Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. When traveling in the United States, you often see express buses with a blue, white, and red Stars and Stripes colored body and a relief of a majestic greyhound galloping on the highway; these buses are the symbol of the company. The company was founded in 1926, and adopted its current name, Greyhound, in 1930 during the Great Depression.
