An art magazine first published in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1898. It was also the name of a group of intellectuals and artists who participated in the magazine. Edited mainly by Diaghilev and Benois, it featured literary critiques by DS Merezhkovsky and others, and was decorated with illustrations by Bakst, Serov, Konstantin Andreevich Somov (1869-1939), and Mstislav Valerianovich Dobuzhinskii (1875-1957).
