An oil field discovered in 1958, about 140km off the coast of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Production began in 1962 with a daily production rate of just under 30,000 barrels. It has a typical dome structure measuring 20km x 15km. The main oil layer is Early Jurassic limestone at a depth of about 2,700m. The oil layer has good porosity and permeability, and a fairly high recovery rate can be expected using a gas cap push oil drainage mechanism, but water flooding is being carried out to further improve this. The oil has a specific gravity of 37° API and a sulfur content of 1.38%.

1958年にアラブ首長国連邦アブ･ダビーの沖合約140kmで発見された油田。62年に日産3万バレル弱で生産を開始。20km×15kmの典型的なドーム構造である。主要油層は深度約2700mのジュラ紀前期の石灰岩である。油層は孔隙率，浸透率とも良好で，ガスキャップ押しの排油機構によってある程度の高い回収率を期待することはできるが，これをさらに向上させるために水攻法を実施している。油質は比重37゜API，硫黄分1.38％である。
