Kvass (Russia)

A Russian mildly alcoholic drink. It is made by fermenting rye and malt. It can also be made at home using black bread and yeast. It can be drunk as is or used in cold soups. It has an alcohol content of 1-2.5%.

ロシアの微アルコール性飲料。ライ麦と麦芽を発酵させてつくる。黒パンとイーストを用いて家庭でつくることもある。そのまま飲むほか、冷たいスープの材料にする。アルコール度数は1~2.5度。
