Kuroashineko (English spelling) Black-footed Cat
A small carnivorous mammal of the Felidae family with black soles. It lives in the arid regions of southern Africa. Its body length is 34-50 cm, its tail length 15-20 cm, and its weight 1.5-2.8 kg. It is a primitive species closely related to the African wildcat and the domestic cat, with a round face and small nose, but its body is smaller than those of the two, and the tips of its ears are slightly rounded. Its forehead has no dark stripes, but is dotted with small spots, and its forelegs have three to four prominent black bands. The rear of its hind legs is black. Its body is light yellowish brown with large black spots on its torso, lined up diagonally downward. The spots do not have a light color in the center, as in the Tsushima wildcat.
