Born December 26, 1910. Worked for the Imperial Agricultural Association. Analyzed the structure of Japanese agriculture and advocated the "expanding of middle-sized peasants." Played an active role as a lecturer in the debate on Japanese capitalism. After the war, he elucidated the agricultural structure of direct control of peasants by state monopoly capitalism. After working as a consultant for the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, he became a professor at Takushoku University in 1953. Died May 24, 1955. Age 44. Born in Ibaraki Prefecture. Graduated from Tohoku Imperial University. Written works include "The Basic Structure of Japanese Agriculture" and "Modern Japanese Agriculture."
